Hagan O’Reilly’s Irish Pub Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Fun atmosphere but when we arrived at 6:30 with our friends they were already out of all hard ciders, Bud, Blue Moon, and others. I found this appalling so early on St. Patty's weekend!

3.5 stars. Dropped by on trivia Monday and wait staff was a but overwhelmed despite not a huge crowd. Spinach artichoke dip was excellent. Wedge was plentiful with a nice balsamic drizzle in addition to blue cheese. Happy hour fish n chips was not great. Atmosphere nice w a patio (we say inside).

This place seriously has the best boneless wings. Always a good atmosphere and experience.

Went last evening for St Patrick's Day. The issues in some of the other reviews really kicked in with the huge crowd! The staff was entirely unprepared for food service. We ordered from a dude outside in the big tent but never saw him again and left after a couple beers (self-served from the bar). The food served from the limited event menu did not look very good anyway. You would think that they have a year to prepare for their premier event and would have their act together.

Nice to have such an authentic Irish pub so close to home. Have had the fish and chips as well as the burger. All were very good. Love the music they have here sometimes as well!

  • Bob A.

The food is mediocre. I asked for a burger medium, it came out well done. Thank goodness it had hot sauce on it to some flavor and some moisture. Not enough wait staff to serve the full Saturday night crowd, making service times extremely long for the type of food ordered and the time needed to consume it. Stereotypical Irish Pub atmosphere, maybe consider getting drunk before ordering the food.

5 stars on the food, 2 on the service. I am giving this place the benefit of the doubt and will go back for a second chance because the food was awesome. I got fish and chips, which is what I always get at pubs, and it was hot, crispy, cooked perfectly, and had good tartar sauce. My wife really liked her dish too. I tried to order some beer with my food. I got a 20 ounce heinekin for $3 (and I'm pretty sure I read that that's the all day every day price). The only stout they had was Guiness, which is awful; I really wish they had Murphy's, which is like Guiness except it doesn't taste like bird vomit mixed with burnt goat hair. So anyway, I got a beer, my server delivered it to me, then pretty much disappeared. Someone I had never seen brought our food out, and I would have loved to order two or three more beers, but the next time I saw our server was when we were done with the meal and she was bringing our check. The place was half empty and there were at least two servers there, so I'm not sure if our server was just awful or had to work the outside section too or what the problem is. Like I said, I'm going to go back and give them another shot, but if I get similar service I'll know it's the pub and not just one server having a bad night. Also, I guess this is expected but so cliche... there was an extrordinarily loud douchebag at the bar trying to flirt with some ladies on what was clearly a girls' night out at a table a few feet away by loudly slow-counting to 5 (seriously, I was on the other side of the restaurant and heard him clearly) when they dropped some silverware. They gave him a pity laugh but otherwise ignored him, and one of them made the mistake of dropping another piece of silverware 10 minutes later and HE DID IT AGAIN. Because it went over so well the first time. What an ass.

Hagen's is still a great place for beer and pub food but I wouldn't recommend ordering mixed drinks. We went the other night and my friend ordered a chocolate martini. As soon as it came to the table you could tell something was wrong just by looking at it. It appeared curdled. The drink was sent back and replaced with a margarita. Again, appearance was the first clue. It was a fakey green color and the taste was off. Believe it or not a 3rd try was made with another martini and it wasn't any better. Stick with beer and you'll be a happy camper. Also, Flathead Six (not Zits) really rocks on Wednesday nights!

We heard about this #1 Irish Pub in Orlando and set out to find it. Pleasantly surprised, it was one of the most beautiful Irish Pub's we have ever seen. The food was outstanding. We were adventurous and tried the burger mashed between glazed donuts. Insanely good! They had a crawfish boil special that day we which ordered too. Delicious. The British band was awesome. The adventure paid off. Two thumbs up!

Went in the other night for the first time. Got some Irish nachos and a burger. Washed it down with $1 pints. Can't beat that. Service is inconstant. Sometimes they are there and helpful, other times you just sit and wait.

Hagan O'reilly's takes this quiet suburban strip mall and turns it into a rockin' destination for cheap drinks and great pub food. It seems like whenever I'm there it's always happy hour and I end up paying only half price for my drinks. The best thing about this place is the outdoor patio. I can spend all day just hanging out, enjoying the fresh air and sun. It's always crowded, whether it's Sunday afternoon or Wednesday night. There may be a band, or maybe a cornhole tournament, either way, knock back a few pints, and eat some hog wings (deep fried pork shanks, bitches!) Slàinte!

  • Matt M.

Went here with a work event. It was pretty good. Great service and I'd say pretty much all the food was good except for the sheppard's pie. Had a couple slices and both tasted like they'd been swimming in soy sauce. Odd. Overall though, the rest of the food was good, the drinks were delicious, the staff friendly, and it made me want to go back. I'm a fan!

If your having a fat day don't come here. Otherwise amazing!! Food was good! Lots of beer to chose. Service was excellent. All they need is to take French fries and add the amazing Guinness gravy!!

We have had several intimate family meals in one of the side rooms. We loved the live irish music and the privacy of the vintage looking hearth in corner room. Food was good but this place gets very busy and can be a wait when it is. Drinks kept us from noticing.

  • James M.

Horrible service. Waitress too worried about her phone behind the counter, had to flag down other waiters to get drinks. Too bad because I wanna like this place.

So I used to work here, I gave my notice yesterday and today I got a text from the"chef"... Hey don't worry about coming tomorrow or next week we won't be needing you anymore Pretty classy even for the restaurant business....

You know what they say in Ireland. "Shut your mouth and eat your dinner." That's so hard to do because I'd love to tell you how much I love this place but the food is so good and well, you know the saying. It's rude not to follow it. Do yourself a favor. Get the Irish Nachos! Oh and those little potato cakes things too. I'm sure the young lad helping you and help you figure out the thing I'm talking about on the appetizer section. They're mashed potatoes and cheese and... just order them. It's rare that a restaurant can dish out good food, great decor and a nice vibe. This place does it. Afternoons on the two trips I've been I've found this place to be relaxing and laid back and then get ready to boogey woogey Irish style at night because that is when this place lives up to to it's name "Irish". Ha, you thought I was going to say pub. You gnome me too well. Service is clean and friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.

Through my years of watching reality TV cooking shows and my own regular cooking at home, I have developed a pretty keen sense of fresh vs non-fresh ingredients. I remember the days of ignorant bliss where any old bar food and a beer was amazing. Call it a blessing or a curse, but those days are gone. And so as I ate through my Irish nachos and brisket meatloaf I just couldn't shake the feeling that I was staring at a plate of at least partial leftovers. Things on my plate were certainly reheated in some sense. Likely made days ago, frozen thawed and served. Many restaurants do this, but if you're a foodie it's major turn off. After being here twice I would rate the food 3 stars at best. If you're indifferent to greasy, half ass bar food, then this place will do just fine. That said service was exceptionally friendly, albeit a bit slow. My recommendation is go for the beer, football and atmosphere. Skip the food.

    (3)
  • Daniel S.

The servers didn't know about the wall-posted specials (unless it was the pre-7 specials), the fried pickles were very greasy, and the overall value was simply not there.

Usually, it must be said, I hate Irish pubs, places people go to watch sports, upscale bars, everything in Winter Garden, and bar food. Oreillys defies all expectations! I came here on a lark to watch World Cup (of which they are showing every game) and it was fantastic. Lot of beers on tap. Good. Half price domestics for happy hour. Also good. Try the Irish Nachos. Great. For $9 or so you get a true monstrosity of food, a terrifying Mt Whitney of sweet potato chips layered with beef, cheese, and sour cream. This thing is immense, delicious, and- Holy Moses- works out to about $3 a person. Also very pleased with our server, the atmosphere, the beers. HOWEVER! Most importantly let me mention the Costa Rica has beaten world class powerhouses Uruguay and Italy. A tiny country with no army has come from almost nowhere to shock the universe! Like Oderus Ungerous defeating Jesus Christ in 1on1, this is truly a victory for the ages!

I used to love this place - but after the last two visits, it's definitely headed the wrong direction. Service is surly and slow when the place is half full, but it's the food quality that has really slipped - my chicken was either frozen or old, quantity is cut back, freshness and taste are a thing of the past. The flies buzzing inside and seeing mops, buckets and rags in plain view don't help the ambiance, which is a real shame given how nice the furnishings are. Current management seems focused on cutting corners, which is why the place is empty a lot - we won't go back until or unless it gets an extreme quality makeover to restore its glory from when it first opened a few years back - which is a real shame because I much prefer to keep my money local.

  • Hieu L.

Great pub on the outside, all the times I have come here I dont think I came early enough to eat inside. Anyways the food here is great. I just get the usual bar foods, wings, fries etc. Also they have a full bar so I always get my usual captain and coke. Great place to hang with friends or watch some games.

    (5)
  • Paul D.

Hagan's isn't bad, but it's not as great as I should be. Beer selection is good, food is ok. Best dish I've had here was a beef stew they had on 'special' roughly around Thanksgiving time. Best part about the place, is the live Irish music. He's the best Irish musician I've heard here in town, and it's fun to sing along and drink song with him. Slanté.

  • Sue C.

This is a great place. We just moved into the area and a friend said we should give it a try. It has a feel of an old Irish pub inside. We had a lovely server named Sarah. She knew all about the menu, made good recommendations and looked after us checking back to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We started with the wings which were lovely, then for dinner had the fish and chips and also the meatloaf. There are also lots of other solid choices on this menu.

Stopped by for a beer. Saw they have a raw bar now? In an Irish pub.........wow who thought that one up? Well i tried the oysters rockefeller and ended up with food poisoning. Should have known better.

Food is not out of this world, actually my wife got sick eating the steak medallion. Undercooked and wasn't all that. The beer selection may be the only reason we may come back, maybe not!

Nice neighborhood bar. Inside is a little stuffy and dark, but the outside patio is great and dog friendly! I usually take my fur baby on Sundays and watch football games. During nice weather, it can get pretty crowded outside. My favorite thing to order has to be the dry rub wings. So good!

NO, do not attempt! But hold on... you will be fooled with the Irish music and excellent decorum. I love trying out different Irish pubs all over the US because the quality varies and when you find a good one, hold onto it. There is a great one near downtown Phoenix and an epic one near Market Street in San Francisco. Unfortunately, this restaurant hits the bottom of my list. When I asked the waitress to inform me of the beer selection, she told me about the Budweiser, Bud Lite and every other crappy American beer. She forgot to mention and at least inform me of the beer list on the wall which she was blocking. Not the end of the world but hold on... I ordered the Sheppard's Pie. Real Sheppard's Pie is made with..... LAMB. NOT beef. If it is made with beef, it should be required to be listed as COTTAGE PIE. This, unfortunately, was not the most hurtful part of the dish because, most Irish Pubs in America make that particular mistake... these guys took it one step lower... they used canned chilli, threw potatoes on top, baked it and called it a day. Yep, ran into the beans....but NO veggies... nothing that should be in there. The absolute worst Sheppard's Pie in America.... and the service ended up being lame to top it off. When I have to get up and tell you my beer glass has been dry for 15 minutes and I just want to bill. After hold my credit card hostage for another 15 minutes I have made up my mind. Great decorations and thematic music does not make up for terrible service and dock dumpster food.

Stopped in on Sunday night .it was Memorial Day weekend and we wanted light snacks and a beverage. The server ordered our beer from the bar tender and let it sit on the bar for 10 minutes before he stopped talking and went to get it. The food was terrible fish and chips soggy and over cooked and the chicken pot pie had no taste. The second round of beer sat at the bar ...again for 10 minutes until one of us went up and got it ... Don't waste your money

Fun place! Hagan O'reillys has an outdoor bar with dart boards and TV's. The food is great! We had the Irish nacho's. We also had the poutin with bangers and carrots. The bar has a great selection of beers and ciders. We tried the pineapple cider that was really good. The staff is very friendly! Live music most nights.

We often visit this restaurant/bar on Monday nights for Trivia nights! The food is good, they have several beer specials and the trivia is always fun!

Magic Hat brews with the steak medallions, on a splat of mashed potatoes topped with super fried thin onyoung rings, coupled with the great Fl weather- Man, This is the middle classed life for sure! ; ) The live entertainment dude was a hoot and good nuff to keep you there to the next set. (sorry man, didn't get ya name) The medallions were cooked med and seasoned good - you should try this place some time when the nights are cool and breezy. Cool just to hang out, chill, tap ya foots and let the work day worries GET LOST! Derek kept a eye on our table and helped with the CHILLn' out by doin his part. Good job!

If you love Irish bar food with live music and a great selection of beers and wines. Then This is your spot! Hagan is one of the best pubs in Orlando / Winter Garden. They host great events and is a perfect spot for any kind of get togethers. Staff is on point with service and the beers are always cold. Kid friendly with a very nice outside patio eating area. I recommend getting the shepherded pie or their famous Hagan sandwich.

Great Fresh Place, food is fantastic, also huge portions on fish and chips. A cold Smithicks hmm hmm hmmm

We wanted a quick neighborhood dinner and had a mediocre dinner. The fish and chips were good, but my husband thought his sandwich was just ok. The service was not good and the place was noisy. It is a good sports bar though.

Beer, bangers, and mash baby! I'll be quite honest, its more about the ambiance than the menu for me. I love this place for the people and the bar. I've gone here MANY times for social events and NONE of them were a bad experience. Great spot to catch up with friends, special events, and just a relaxing time at the bar for a couple pints. Good old fashioned Irish pub with a fine menu of Irish food for those who are fans. I found the outdoor patio to be quite delightful with the weather is mild. Now THIS would be a perfect spot for a Yelp event...hint hint ;) If you are thinking Irish Pub - Haul your behind to Hagen's; you won't be disappointed!

We had a Meetup with 30 people. My complaint and the complaint of our members is the food was cold, and not very good. Hey could not make a half and half! Very disappointing...I don't think I will go back or recommended them to anyone and it will be the last Meetup we will have there.

We've been to Hagan O'Reilly's a bunch of times because it's near our house and we like the food, but the service is admittedly terrible - so, go in knowing that it's hit or miss. The servers are generally friendly, but it seems like the server-to-customer ratio is completely out of whack and they always just have too many tables to handle, so service can be slow. Actually, that might be the understatement of the year. Only go there if you have time to hang out... for awhile. The outdoor patio tends to be a bit more young, loud and lively - the indoor area has a more upscale (for an Irish Pub) feel. We've tried a lot of items on the menu - some favorites include the turkey reuben, fried pickles and the irish quesadilla. I sort of feel like I'm being generous with three stars when I think about the dismal service - but something keeps us going back time after time... so it must be "A-OK."

The alcohol will generally be the same as with any Irish pub, so it comes to question how everything else was. And it was just peachy. Space is more than ample, there are plenty of TVs with whatever game you want to watch, and the pub food comes out of the kitchen cooked how it should be. Service is just fine, as well. Everybody's been cordial, and helpful.

Stopped in the night before St Patricks day. I do like the looks of the place. It's a solid Irish pub atmosphere with some TVs behind the bar. It was very lively on this particular night with a live band playing. I stopped by to order some wings to go based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately I have to disagree with many of them. I'll start with the good, because its easy, the wings were meaty and big. I've been to many places where they pass skimpy wings off. That was not the case here. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. To start, these wings are fried, then grilled, at least according to the menu. However I didn't notice any grill marks or anything. Instead I got a big pile of slimy feeling wings. Their consistency and texture just didn't feel right. Second, I ordered the "volcano" sauce as the bartender indicated it was the hottest they offered. I beg to differ. If you're going to compare your sauce to liquid hot magma it better be hot. This was far from the case. A good hot sauce will make me sweat and make my mouth burn. This sauce did neither. There was a total lack of heat. Lastly though, there was really no flavor in general to the sauce. No vinegar, no salt, no nothing. It didn't even have color. If you're not going to bread the wings, you need a thick sauce to stick to them. This sauce was very thin, and did not coat the wings well at all. I give them credit for not pushing off frozen bagged industrial packaged wings and taking the initiative to make their own sauce and cook them uniquely. Somebody had to take the time to create a recipe. Which is why it makes it so much harder to say this, but these were quite simply the worst wings I have ever had before. Maybe I caught the kitchen on a bad night, but based on what I was served these wings were not good at all and I can not conceivably recommend them to anybody

I love this place for many reasons. First, I have friends that Irish dance and this is one of the places they will go and dance for the restaurant goers. I haven't eaten food here, only beer! I love that they have a huge selection of beer on tap. I got one of my favorites, Abita = Purple Haze here.. and that is why I return so much!!! Fun place for St Patty's Day.. but get there early!!

  • Michael B.

The food is OK, but the service is atrocious. I sat at the bar for 10-15 minutes before the bartender/server took a break from her conversation with someone to ask if I wanted something. After handing me a menu, she walked away to continue her conversations and didn't get back to me for another 10-15 minutes. The server seemed to feel that customers were a bother to her and her gossip telling. Maybe they have some competent staff here, but not this day.

Wow, it's been seven months since I've updated my Review of Hagan's and they have taken the feedback and made several changes. The patio area has been rebuilt to provide a leak free cover, there are outdoor pool tables, darts, live music and every Wednesday there is a Cornhole Tourny. The original review was of the Trivia night, which now is hosted by a different member of the local staff who is much more personable and keeps the questions well mixed throwing in video trivia, sports, general knowledge, current events, etc. Much, much improved over the Dark Days of Dean and his strange approach to customer service. Some other improvements include glass rinsers so you'll never again see a soapy Guinness. A new expanded menu with Irish influenced flat bread pizzas, great salads, and sandwiches. This is again one of my favorite places to come, both for the food and drink and once again for the entertainment and games.

The patty melt was the best I've had in Florida and the bartender did a perfect pour on my Guinness draught. The environment was perfect, feeling very authentic. Also they have these smartphone QR codes displays that link to coupons you keep on your phone and can use every time your return. Very cool. I've shared this on Facebook and my friends all love it so here it is. haganipub.homestead.com

A very well done American Irish Pub. Hagan's is usually a every other week type place for me. My go-to staple is the wings. I get the Hot flavor here. It's tossed in a sauce and also a dry rub. Has a good amount of heat for me. Also the MC's mix is also quite tasty. I've also had really good burgers here too. Usually the food is pretty good although I've been a few times where the food and service has just sucked. If it gets somewhat crowded, you might not leave too happy. Hagan's also features a great outdoor area. On the weekends, both inside and outside feature live music. Outside tends to be a lil more rowdy though...just a warning. Generally though my experiences have been very good here. The beer selection is also pretty great although i think they should drop the cost of a pint of Guiness down a dollar. $6 is a lil pricey.

2 of us went there on St. Patrick's Day 3/17/12. We had such fun time and met some other great ppl. to hang out with. The 2 piece band was great. She was an awesome singer. We had some appetizers and drinks. Food was pretty good and the prices not too bad. The atmosphere and decorations in the place are great. Makes you want to come back - and we definitely will be back.

I love this place I'm just here visiting from nj and I've been here several times and everything about it awesome. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and the staff are all wonderful people, especially dawn who is an amazing person and also pours a mean Guinness.

Hagan's is a fun place--fun for adults, as well as children. Great live Irish music plus live music on outside patio as well. The steak medallions with mashed potatoes and fried onions and the loaded tater tots are wondeful! The restaurant is gorgeous and you can see the time and effort that was put into building this place.

Every time I passed by this place it is always packed. So this weekend I checked it out and found out it was a pretty cool establishment. I had the Mini Bangers (similar to corn dogs, but pork sausages in the middle) and the Paulaner Hefe Weizen (one of the German beers on tap that had an after taste of bananas). My brother had the fish & chips (which was HUGE!) with a Half & Half (Guinness stout & Harp Lager). We enjoyed dinner and the local Irish singer. Also, the college games were playing on all the tv screens. We didn't get to check out the patio area, but you could see it was happening when we drove off! Pretty cool spot where we plan to visit again!

GREAT place to get a beer outdoors and play some ping-pong while you do it. In Winter Garden I actually prefer going here to watch NFL games since you have the outdoor option. If you like Irish Pub trivia, they do that here as well.

YOU'RE LUCKY that i was willing to give you two stars(purely for food) after being charged 9.75 PER drink for a 'jack' on the rocks that was half jack half water, pathetic for a bar. i've been to five star restaurants that don't charge something so ridiculous.

Great place to eat or hang out. I have been a regular here for some time now. The food is good am they have Magners on tap. The workers are friendly and personable. While the customers are also just as friendly and you will quickly learn the regulars and make many new friends. They recently updated the outdoor patio. They now have a full cover over the entire outdoor bar area. They have permanent heaters so you can enjoy a cold one outside in the dead of winter. While they already had plenty of outdoor fans to beat the harsh summer heat. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is price. I think they need to re-adjust their pricing to compete with the other Irish pubs. *edit* The outdoor patio photo that is posted was taken prior to the heaters being installed.

Love, love, love the fish and chips. Super consistent, perfectly cooked, 2 huge fillets, a ton of chips and then to wash it down a bunch of different cool brews. It's only fault is that is allll the way across town from where I live.

I wrote before: "Okay, I'm Irish, and most Irish pubs in the States are really not too Irish. But Hagan O'Reilly's Irish Pub was a fresh experience for me in Irish Pubs here in the States. The food, atmosphere and live entertainment were all very good and the best I've seen in Irish Pubs in the State of Florida." And I've been back many times and the place just seems to get better and better.

Best Irish pub in Orlando. Get there early (before 7pm) or you will have to wait a long while for a table. Food is excellent and creative pub food is a welcome sight on the menu. Service is friendly and quick to get you another pint. Irish music is top notch. Overall the pub is worth the drive.

The atmosphere, staff and drinks are GREAT! The food, not so much. Ordered the Garlic wings, cooked wonderfully but not a hint of garlic flavor. Ordered the Fish and Chips, nice big pcs. of fish, cooked wonderfully but again NO TASTE, no seasoning at all. I used A LOT of vinegar and still didn't help much. My wife ordered a WHISKEY Steak, It was good, at least it had flavor. Will certainly go back for the "PUB", but will eat somewhere else.

Ok, 2 years in a row (This exact thing happened last year. I guess I should learn my lesson) but, we come here for fantasy football draft last 2 years. Each time, when we get here, I ask what kind of citrus vodka they have. Again, waitress tells me they have EVERY kind. I order absolut citron. Drink it for about 4 hours until our server leaves. Then when I go to the bar, they tell me they NEVER carry absolut citron. Not the biggest deal in the world, but why lie ? I at least like to drink the same thing all the time. Also, during our draft, the place had 3 or 4 tables but we kept having to find some one to order more buckets of beer for our draft party (10 people). Of course, when our server left, we had to hunt down another one to let them know we were still here and ordering. Little things, I know, but an Sunday afternoon BEFORE football season even started? The boneless and bone in wings were pretty good tho.

The food quality here has been consistenly good as far as I am concerned. - the fish and chips being the main stand out. With the exception of two bartenders who are also consistebtly good, the service can be hit or miss. We went to their St Patty's Day bash yesterday afternoon and even though the place was packed and the beer was flowing, something was conspicuously missing - MUSIC. There was one bagpiper who came outside, did one song and then disappeared. There wasn't even the usual canned music going on in the background. They really need to either start the entertainment earlier or at least turn the radio back on. Otherwise it was like dining in an outdoor food court.

A great spot for a snack, a meal, a beer or just for fun. With live entertainment, lots of daily specials and good food, HR keeps me coming back. My favorites include their Irish Nachos (nachos on home made potato chips), their Fish and Chips which are always fresh, tasty and a big enough portion for my wife and I to split, and from their summer menu - the Steak Medallions. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've tried on their menu. For the beer hound in the family, HR has around 80 beers in stock between draft and bottles. In fact, they have something they call 80 beers in 80 days - drink one of each and get a gift card. I'm tempted to try, but my beer gut is big enough without packing all those brews in! The service is usually good, but occasionally slightly less attentive than I'd like. But despite this, Hagan O'Reilly's is one of my favorites!

By far the best Irish Pub in the area, Hagan O'Reilly's features a huge variety of beers on tap, great music, great food and the kind of instant friendship with regulars that reminds me of pubs in Ireland, though it is arguably a bit large. Outdoor seating is also available. Nevertheless, they maintain the atmosphere and attract the kind of friendly clientele that sets everyone at ease and makes them "part of the family". And, as another reviewer pointed out, "the Guinness is a proper pour".

Been back two times since the first review i gave, and it nowhere near as good as before. It's a beer only place for me now.

The good is really, really good. It's the food. There were many items on the menu I was interested in, and I was not disappointed with what I eventually ordered. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp Wrap from the Winter Menu with a side of fresh vegetables. The vegetables were really noteworthy because they were not mushy, wilted, or over-buttered like vegetable medleys usually are. The Boom Boom sauce is really good, with a slow build to its spicy heat. It had good-sized, lightly fried shrimp that were not over-breaded. It comes with fries, and to get the vegetables was a $1.50 substitution charge. The decor is also cool: you totally forget you are in a strip mall in central Florida once you go inside. There's heavy hardwood tables and chairs and some stonework accents. There are also these neat little nooks for group seating. And there are very large TVs everywhere, so you can watch your sports. A map of Ireland is painted on the ceiling, and Celtic-sounding music was playing. The bad is pretty bad. It's the service. I visited on a weeknight and the place was half empty. Despite this, the service was painfully slow and sloppy. We waited long stretches for drink refills. Our waitress was a ghost. Then, our bill was incorrect. But, the server couldn't fix the bill because "the owner is in the back cooking." We would have to wait about 10 minutes on the owner for the error to be corrected. This was after we had already waited about 15 minutes just to RECEIVE our check, and after we had already waited 30+ minutes to get our food (mind you, our food was a wrap + fish and chips, hardly complex cooking). My husband ordered the fish and chips, which comes with tartar sauce, but he wanted both tartar and cocktail sauces. When he told the server this, she said she could do it, but didn't mention there is an extra charge for the cocktail sauce. So, she put that extra charge on our bill, but never brought the cocktail sauce, even though we reminded her at least once after the food arrived. The service was just pitiful--kind of what you would expect at a bar, I guess. it's just such a shame because the food we had was really quite tasty. My husband ordered a couple of beers with his food. Other than that, we didn't really experience the bar aspect of Hagan's. I do know they have a very large selection of beers on tap, including Blue Moon and Stella Artois. I don't really know if I want to go back. I'm interested in trying some of the other menu items, but the service was so slow and sloppy....I'm not sure it's worth the effort. If you're going for the bar experience, I guess it's good (based on the other reviews), so party on!

My friends and I went here for dinner because we had heard some good things....totally wrong! First off, it comes off as an Irish pub however it is far from it. The music made it feel as if we were in some random everyday bar. But if the food is good, than the music wouldn't matter. Well let me tell you, the food was not that good. In fact, we barely touched our food. The The service was terrible and we ended up barely eating. Will never go here again.

Like an earlier reviewer, I'd drive by on the way home and say, "wow, that place is always packed. We have to go there." Well, this past weekend we finally did. Walked in and heard some live music from a genuine Irishman it sounded and that set the mood for a fun night. Being as it was later in the evening, I just had some potato skins (which were pretty danged good I must say) and a couple of Guinness (poured excellently but served a bit too chilly for my taste). Anxious to try some real food and see how it compares to my favorite Irish place back in Ky (Irish Rover). But, I will say I think this is much better than the place up in Lake Mary. Looking forward to many fun evenings there in the future and a bonus is it's close enough to stumble home! the lord bless Charlie Mopps!

New to the area & tried this out as result of driving past. VERY GOOD FOOD! I had shephards pie & my husband had hot brown. We are from KY and the hot brown is a big deal in KY. My husband said this was among the best he's ever had. We sat on the patio & enjoyed the Saturday night atmosphere. Very friendly & comfortable. Nice bar. Nice crowd. We will be going back soon.

The servers didn't know about the wall-posted specials (unless it was the pre-7 specials), the fried pickles were very greasy, and the overall value was simply not there.

I'm a fan!

Great pub on the outside, all the times I have come here I dont think I came early enough to eat inside. Anyways the food here is great. I just get the usual bar foods, wings, fries etc. Also they have a full bar so I always get my usual captain and coke. Great place to hang with friends or watch some games.

Slanté.

So good!

We have had several intimate family meals in one of the side rooms. We loved the live irish music and the privacy of the vintage looking hearth in corner room. Food was good but this place gets very busy and can be a wait when it is. Drinks kept us from noticing.

YOU'RE LUCKY that i was willing to give you two stars(purely for food) after being charged 9.75 PER drink for a 'jack' on the rocks that was half jack half water, pathetic for a bar. i've been to five star restaurants that don't charge something so ridiculous.

I love this place I'm just here visiting from nj and I've been here several times and everything about it awesome. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and the staff are all wonderful people, especially dawn who is an amazing person and also pours a mean Guinness.
